Old Mystic sits at the head of the river, where the water goes quiet and the old mill pond holds the sky. Dickson Landscape and Design LLC keeps the ground around it in shape — mowing and trimming through the growing season, edging that gives a property a defined outline, then plowing, shoveling and sanding when the road up from the village glazes over. The land here rolls more than the shoreline does, and a drive with a pitch to it needs a plan well before the first flake.
