Allied Snow Plowing Removal

About Allied Snow Plowing Removal

In Pawcatuck a storm usually shows up as rain first, then turns while the river runs black under the bridge to Westerly. Allied Snow Plowing Removal is out by then, plowing the mill streets and the tight drives above them, stacking snow where it will not block a sightline. Salt and sand go on the grades, walkways and steps come down to the surface, and lots are opened before the first car arrives. It is cold, unglamorous work and honestly a pleasure — a street that was impassable at three is ordinary again by six. Pawcatuck, Stonington Borough, North Stonington and the roads toward Westerly are all on the list.
