Turn of River takes its name from a bend in the water, and the roads climbing above it — High Ridge, Long Ridge — rise far enough that a storm can be falling as snow up there while it's only rain down by the harbor. O'Dell Landscape Services LLC works both elevations: plowing, shoveling, clearing walkways and salting when the ridge goes white, then mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing and cleanups the rest of the year. The winter mornings are the ones that stay with you — headlights, the scrape of the blade, a driveway opened wide enough that nobody has to think twice about it.
