About North Eastern Tree , Shrub and Lawn care

Stamford keeps an arboretum up on Brookdale Road, and the neighborhoods around it grew in under the same tall canopy — oak, beech, tulip poplar, shade that travels across a yard all afternoon. North Eastern Tree , Shrub and Lawn care tends the grass beneath those trees, which is a puzzle of its own: less light, more root competition, and soil picked clean by July. The work is lawn care — mowing at a height the shade can carry, fertilizing, aerating compacted ground, overseeding in the cool of September, and clearing the leaves when they come down heavy. Get it right and a shaded lawn holds a soft, deep green that no full-sun yard ever quite matches. That's the one we're after.
