About A Cut Above Tree Service LLC

Southington smells like apples in October — orchards on the hills west of town, the traprock of Ragged Mountain standing behind them, Plantsville's mill-era rooftops down along the Quinnipiac. A Cut Above Tree Service LLC works from those hill roads to the flat neighborhoods east of Route 10, taking down what has grown too big or gone too far, and trimming what still has a long life ahead of it. Pruning is the part that pays off later: a crown cleaned of dead wood, a co-dominant stem reduced before it splits, a driveway limb shortened before it starts dragging on the truck. Ice loads the ridge every winter and the phone starts before sunrise; whatever came down gets cut apart, carried out, and the pavement swept behind it. A finished job here looks like nothing at all — a good tree, and clean grass under it.
