About S&W Excavation (Somers CT)

Wind crosses the open farm ground of Somers with nothing to slow it down, so snow here does not simply fall — it travels, piling against barn walls and closing a driveway an hour after it was cleared. Heavy equipment is the honest answer to that. Winter work covers plowing long rural driveways and commercial lots, pushing back and stacking piles so there is somewhere to put the next storm, opening drifted farm and field access, clearing walkways, and sanding or salting where ice glazes over. Big open properties are the specialty by circumstance — this is a town full of them. The measure of the work is a lot that still has room in it come February.
