About Foxdale Landscaping

Up against the Massachusetts line, Somers is open country — Scantic River bottoms, old tobacco barns weathering silver, Soapstone Mountain standing behind all of it in the state forest. Foxdale Landscaping plows that open ground, where wind matters as much as snowfall and a field-side driveway can drift shut twice after the sky has cleared. Clearing means the drive, the walkway, room enough to turn a car around, and sand where shade holds ice past noon. There is something worth staying up for on a January night out here: the plow lights, the fields going blue, the road ahead completely still. Then morning, and everything open again.
