About Valley Landscaping LLC

Heublein Tower stands on the traprock ridge above Simsbury, and from the valley floor you can watch weather come over Talcott Mountain a good half hour before it arrives. Valley Landscaping LLC mows the ground beneath that ridge — the broad lawns of the river valley, the sandy loam that once grew shade tobacco and now grows grass about as fast as anything in the state. A June week of sun and rain can put four inches on a lawn, so the schedule bends to whatever is actually happening outside. What people see afterward is the sweep of it: an even field of green, edges cut true along the walk, the mountain standing behind the whole thing. Good ground to work.
