Green Earth

About Green Earth

The Far Mill River runs loud in April, brown and quick under the hemlocks, and the lawns above it wake up almost overnight. Green Earth follows that first flush of growth through Shelton with mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanups that clear winter's leavings off the beds and turf. Cutting at the right height, at the right week, is most of what a good lawn ever needs here. By midsummer the reward is obvious from the driveway — even color, tidy borders, nothing shaggy at the corners. It is a satisfying way to spend a Connecticut season, one yard at a time.
