Ace Lawn Care

About Ace Lawn Care

Fog lifts off the Housatonic and lies along the Route 8 corridor on cold mornings, and Shelton's commercial rows on Bridgeport Avenue emerge out of it one building at a time. Ace Lawn Care is usually already in it — plow down in winter, mower deck down the rest of the year. Snow work here is a question of timing: lots and drives cleared before the first cars turn in, banks pushed back so the next storm has somewhere to go. Come May those same routes turn green and the job becomes mowing, trimming and keeping the edges honest along curbing and walkways. It is a town of hills and river flats, and both of them need tending.
