About Rob's Lawn & Landscaping

This ground gives up stone the way other places give up weeds — glacial fieldstone, ledge, old walls running off into the woods behind every Ridgefield property line. Rob's Lawn & Landscaping works both halves of that inheritance: weekly maintenance, spring cleanup, fall cleanup and mulching on the green side; walkways, patios and retaining walls on the stone side. Excavating, drainage and stump removal deal with whatever is under the surface, while brush removal, tree removal, stump grinding and wooded area thinning open a shaded yard back up to daylight. Snow removal carries the work down the far end of the calendar, from Ridgefield across to Wilton and New Canaan. The reward is a patio sitting dead level in the last light of an August evening, and a wall that shrugs off the frost heave when March tries it.
