About First Connecticut Home Services

October turns Ridgefield's Main Street into a long amber corridor, and around then the work shifts to the outside of the house before the cold arrives. First Connecticut Home Services handles that particular list: power washing the siding and the front walk, sealing the driveway, caulking windows against the wind that comes over the ridge after dark. They paint exteriors, assemble the patio set and the swingset out on the grass where it belongs, and shrink-wrap outdoor furniture for the season so spring finds it exactly as it was left. It is hourly and itemized, one line at a time down the page until the page is finished. Through winter they clear snow, so the stretch between the door and the car is simply there in the morning, already done.
