About Hillstead Tree and Landscape

The old railbed of the Air Line runs through Putnam flat and straight, a reminder that this corner of Connecticut was built around grades and cuttings and the weather that tests them. Hillstead Tree and Landscape keeps properties here in both halves of the year: mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups through the green months, plowing, shoveling and salting once the cold sets in. A driveway on a Quiet Corner back road can drift shut fast, and opening it wide — right to the edges, not just one pass — is the part that earns the next call. Summer asks for a different steadiness: same day, same cut, week after week. Putnam and its surrounding towns make up the route.
