Grass Monkey Landscaping

About Grass Monkey Landscaping

The back roads north of Putnam are gravel and grade, and half the work up here starts with moving earth before anything green goes in. Grass Monkey Landscaping takes the excavation, sitework and drainage first, then hydroseeds a slope into lawn — less expensive than sod, and it knits in fast on ground that would never take rolls. Patios, walkways and retaining walls follow, set to hold a hillside where a yard wants to slide, and driveways get repaired or put in new. Their trucks run materials all season: sand, gravel, processed or crushed stone, mulches dyed or natural, dropped where the pile needs to be. Then it is snow removal and ice management, night or day, plow lights swinging into a driveway at three in the morning so the town road is the only thing left to worry about.
