About Primary Landscaping LLC

Portland's ground remembers the quarries — brownstone cut out of the riverbank and shipped downstream to build half of New England's streets. Primary Landscaping LLC still works in stone and soil, laying hardscape and setting installations that give a yard structure it did not have before. The maintenance side is the steady part: grass cut and edged, shrubs pruned, beds weeded and watered, plants fed so they hold their color deep into August. Landscape design starts most of it, drawn to the slope and the sun a property actually has, not the one it wishes for. Middlesex County keeps the trucks moving, and in winter the plow goes on the front.
