Snow Plowing Service

About Snow Plowing Service

Three in the morning on an Oxford hill road is about as quiet as Connecticut gets: no wind in the pines, no headlights on Route 67, just the sound of a blade finding gravel. This is snow work and only snow work — driveways plowed open, walks and steps shoveled clear, salt and sand laid where a slope turns glassy before sunrise. Half the driveways in this town climb, and a climbing driveway is unforgiving; it either gets cleared properly or it does not get used. The reward comes later, in daylight, when a car backs down without a slip and nobody thinks about it at all. That anonymity is the measure of a night done well.
