About Carpenter Landscaping and Lawn Service

The swing bridge at East Haddam Village opens for the river and closes again, and the lawns along the Connecticut keep a slower rhythm of their own. Carpenter Landscaping and Lawn Service designs, installs and maintains landscapes here with the long view in mind — a planting that can hold itself up, that asks less of the hose and the mower each year it settles in. Their crews clear leaves, debris and clutter when the maples above Goodspeed finally let go, and they lay synthetic turf and custom putting greens for yards that would rather be played on than fussed over. Where brush has quietly taken a lot back, they clear it and reclaim it, turning ground you own into ground you can actually walk. It is patient work, and the reward is a yard that looks like it grew that way on purpose.
