About Roberts Services LLC

Norwich sits where the Yantic and the Shetucket fold into the Thames, and Roberts Services LLC works the yards that climb the hills above them. The job usually starts with a mess — a winter's worth of fallen branches behind a Greeneville triple-decker, hedge clippings heaped along a fence line in Taftville, a yard's worth of debris nobody wants to look at anymore. They cut it back, load it out, and haul it off, and what's left is ground the owner can walk across again. The routes run south with the river toward Waterford, New London and the Groton line, east to Stonington and Mystic and Old Lyme, north to Salem and Voluntown. There is a plain satisfaction in an empty truck bed at dusk and a property that finally looks tended.
