About Griffin Outdoor Services

Norwich has long been called the Rose of New England, and on a summer morning it is easy to see why. Mist rises where the Yantic and the Shetucket meet to become the Thames, the steep streets climb toward Chelsea Parade, and the grand old houses of the mill-and-merchant era look down over lawns still beaded with dew. Griffin Outdoor Services goes to work as the dew lifts, mowing steady passes across terraced yards and trimming along the iron fences and granite steps that give this hilly city its character. Once the mist burns off the rivers, the lawns are cut, the edges drawn sharp, and the walks swept free of clippings. It is grounding work for a place built on hills and water, and it leaves a whole street looking tended, from the crest of the hill down to the riverbank.
