About Robidoux Landscaping

North Norwalk is glacial ledge and good loam in the same backyard, and where the Silvermine River slips past old fieldstone the ground tells you exactly what it will hold. Robidoux Landscaping works that ground from the drawing forward — landscape design, landscape construction, and the property maintenance that keeps a finished place looking intended. Their hands are in masonry most of all: patios, walkways, steps and stone walls set so the joints run true and the wall reads like it was always part of the hill. Around it go plantings and sod and large tree plantings, then the things that keep a yard alive after dinner — outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits, pool decks, ponds and water features, putting greens, bocce courts and sports courts, with landscape lighting holding the garden's shape once the light goes off the Sound. In winter the same crews clear the snow off the walks they laid, which is its own kind of pride.
