About Connecticut Green LLC

Mist lifts off the Silvermine River before the rest of Norwalk is awake, and by then the soil under a Fairfield County lawn has already begun its day's work. Connecticut Green reads a property the way you'd read weather — sun exposure here, irrigation there, the particular household walking across it — and builds the lawn and shrub program around what that ground is actually asking for. Fertilization synthetic or organic, lime for soil gone acidic, aerating and seeding in the shoulder months, compost and compost tea worked in where the earth has thinned. Grubs and chinch bugs get headed off; fungus gets caught before it can spread across a September morning. There is also the In2Care Mosquito Station, Repel pest control, and gravel driveways brought back from rut and washout. Plant health care is a slower kind of pride: the green arrives because somebody fed the ground it came from.
