About Pitch Pines Landscaping LLC

Peter's Rock stands over the east side of town in traprock and oak, and something of that stone stubbornness runs through the work Pitch Pines Landscaping does in the streets below it. They build in hard material — paver patios and walkways, paver and stone driveways, retaining walls and stairs, Belgium block, outdoor fire pits — and in soft material too, with lawn installations, hydroseeding and sod, shrub and tree planting, garden design and full landscape renovations, plus drainage systems trenched in with mini excavator and skid steer. The weekly rhythm runs alongside all of it: mowing, pruning, weeding, mulching, spring and fall cleanups, and fertilization programs built on crabgrass pre-emergent, liquid broadleaf weed control, grub and insect control, lime, tick control and soil testing. When a storm crosses New Haven County they watch it before, during and after, plowing and hauling snow off retail centers, industrial sites and municipal lots, then shoveling and treating stairs and sidewalks with sand, salt and calcium. Estates, schools, back yards — the range is wide and the finish line is the same one.
