About Rolys Landscaping

In Newtown, where the Pootatuck River slips down through Sandy Hook and old stone walls climb the wooded ridges above the Housatonic, Rolys Landscaping keeps the ground looking cared for. Through the green months they mow and edge the lawns that roll out from colonial doorsteps and from the shadow of Main Street's tall flagpole, cutting the borders clean and carrying off whatever each season lets fall. When winter pushes down off the hills and packs the driveways white, they are out ahead of the light, plowing a path back to the road and clearing the walks by hand. It is steady, unhurried work, and it leaves a place that holds its shape — a crisp lawn in July, a cleared drive in January, a yard that looks tended in any weather.
