About C&G Outdoor Services

Some nights the wind comes up the Housatonic valley and works at the ridges above Lake Lillinonah until something old and tall finally gives way. C&G Outdoor Services answers those calls at any hour, and answers the quieter ones too — a health assessment for a maple that has shaded the same side yard for decades, pruning and shaping, cabling and bracing for a limb worth saving rather than losing. The other half of their work happens below the surface, where Newtown's glacial hillsides send every thaw straight toward somebody's foundation: drainage installed and repaired, slopes stabilized, erosion held back before it starts moving. They resurface and install aggregate driveways, haul out material and cleanup, and take on general excavation and basement waterproofing inside and out. The reward here is mostly invisible — water going where it ought to go, a hillside that stays put, a driveway that holds its shape after a hard March.
