Natural Choice Lawn & Tree Care

About Natural Choice Lawn & Tree Care

By late June a Newington lawn is either holding its color or telling on itself — thin patches, crabgrass, a shaded corner going bare. Natural Choice Lawn & Tree Care works from Holmes Road on exactly that puzzle, reading grass type, sunlight, moisture and soil before feeding anything, then building the season around fertilization and nutrient management, weed control, aeration and overseeding. On the tree and shrub side they prune for structure and catch insects and disease early, and their treatments are pesticide-free, which matters most out at the wood line where poison ivy climbs and ticks and mosquitoes wait for anyone stepping into the shade. Clear that boundary and the whole yard opens up again: barefoot grass, a hose left running, a chair pulled into the cool part of the afternoon. From Newington and West Hartford out through Farmington, Avon and Vernon, the aim is turf thick enough that nothing else can get a foothold in it.
