Toward the Berlin line the Newington streets run out into hedgerow and low field, and on a June evening a mower is still going somewhere down the road past eight. JG and Sons Landscaping and Design keeps lawns cut out there for residential and commercial clients, and keeps the landscape around those lawns looking right the rest of the year. When a planting has gone wrong they tear it out — one tired bush or an entire overgrown front yard — then design and install what should have been standing there. Come winter they clear parking lots and driveways of dangerous amounts of snow, so a January morning starts on open pavement instead of on a shovel.
