About Port Landscaping LLC

The river road follows the Housatonic north out of New Milford, and the light up in Gaylordsville arrives late — over the ridge, through the mist off the water, onto lawns still holding dew. Port Landscaping LLC works that upriver country: landscaping maintenance, complete lawn and gardening services, masonry, tree removal, and snow removal once winter takes the valley. There is real satisfaction in a bed edged clean against fieldstone and a wall set true enough to outlast the season that built it. The work runs south toward Litchfield and South Kent and over to the Bantam Lake side, where the maples turn early and mowing ends in a rush of leaves. Come January the same trucks are out ahead of the school buses, cutting a path down long gravel drives.
