About Emmons Tree & Landscaping Service, LLC

Ask a tree crew when to prune and the honest answer is winter — bare wood tells the truth about a crown, and Emmons Tree & Landscaping Service, LLC works those cold, clear days on the ridges above New Milford. Hazardous trees come down in pieces, the chipper runs, the debris leaves with the trucks, and the yard is left looking as though nothing had ever happened there. When the ground softens, tick spraying begins and repeats from early spring through late fall, while plant healthcare visits sort out what is disease, what is insect, and what is only a hungry tree. Stumps get ground below grade, the grindings hauled off, the scar leveled with topsoil, seed and hay. And when a homeowner wants a new tree, the species is matched to the spot — the light it will get, the room it will need at forty feet — and the prep work is done before anything goes in the ground.
