London Snow

About London Snow

Down Pequot Avenue the houses stand facing the water, and wind crossing the Sound overnight leaves a bank of snow set hard against every driveway apron. London Snow answers with a machine and a season-long commitment: the full driveway blown clear down to the pavement, not just a lane cut through the middle of it. Hand shoveling runs from the front door to the driveway and across the front of the garage door, porches and decks get cleared on request, and ice melt is delivered right to the doorstep for the glaze that follows a thaw. Coastal snow is dense and wet and quick to set, so clearing all the way to bare asphalt is what keeps today's storm from becoming next week's ice. First light on a driveway finished end to end, dark and open, is the point of the whole enterprise.
