About BKS LANDSCAPING LLC

Downtown New London sleeps late after a storm, but the plows do not. BKS LANDSCAPING LLC works the hours before the first ferry horn sounds across the Thames, pushing snow off driveways and parking areas on the brick streets that climb up from the water. Shoveled walks, opened entrances, salt and sand where the shade keeps the ice honest — it is unglamorous work done in the dark. By the time the harbor turns pale gray and the town starts its engines, the pavement is open. Nobody watches it happen, which is rather the point.
