Wallingford Snow Plowing

About Wallingford Snow Plowing

The morning after a big storm, New Haven seen from the summit of East Rock looks like a charcoal drawing on fresh paper — church steeples standing over the Green, the harbor a dark blue line beyond, and every roof in the city capped in white. The sun is bright, the sky is scrubbed clean, and down at street level there is plowing to do. Wallingford Snow Plowing takes it on, working through New Haven driveways with the blade cutting long, clean furrows through the overnight fall. The red traprock cliffs glow above the neighborhoods, the snow squeaks underfoot in the cold, and drive after drive opens to the street. It is the part of a winter storm worth waiting for: the moment a buried city becomes passable again.
