Their week runs the length of New Haven County, up the Quinnipiac valley through Wallingford and Meriden, across the ridgeline to Cheshire and Hamden, then down to where Guilford and Madison meet the water. Weekly and bi-weekly mowing, edging cut sharp along the walk and the drive, so the lawn ends exactly where it ought to and not a blade past. Mulch goes in to hold the moisture around the beds; aeration and overseeding open the soil so water and nutrients can reach the root system; shrubs get trimmed and trees pruned for shape and for health. Spring and fall cleanups bookend it all, and by the last raking pass in November the yard looks the way it did that first dewy morning — squared away, breathing, ready.
