The Nine Squares were laid out flat and square, which is a mercy in February: straight walks, straight curbs, and a great many of them. Oddjobs Handymen llc clears them — shoveling entries and stairs, plowing lots and back alleys, salting the brick that goes slick before anything else does. Snow on the Green is lovely for an hour and a problem after that, and downtown still has to open on time. Working the city means tight spaces, early hours, and knowing exactly which corner drifts.
