About Avalanche Tree and Landscaping LLC

West Rock stands over the city in old red traprock, and the wind that crosses that ridge in a real storm goes looking for the oldest limbs first. Avalanche Tree and Landscaping LLC climbs up into those trees — removal, trimming, planting, stump grinding — and answers 24-hour storm damage calls when a New Haven maple lets go across a drive at two in the morning. The chipper runs, firewood gets cut and delivered, and the ground underneath is left raked smooth instead of rutted. The same hands build retaining walls and hardscape masonry, install and maintain lawns, and lay mulch and fertilizer where the ridge shade thins out into open sun. Winter turns the work to snow cleanup; the calmer weeks go to power washing and gutters, until the ground is ready again.
