About Smith Property Services

Not every house up these back roads is lived in year-round. Above the Nepaug Reservoir and along the lanes that climb toward the slopes at Ski Sundown there are places that sit shuttered through a long stretch of weather, and Smith Property Services keeps an eye on them — property check-ins, a walk-around after a hard blow, the small thing caught before it turns into the big one. The rest runs on a rhythm: regular lawn care and mowing on a route, landscape maintenance, light tree work, seasonal maintenance and clean-ups in spring and again once the leaves are down. When the roads go white the truck turns to snow removal, for houses and businesses alike. They describe themselves as a business for all seasons, which in a town shaped this much by its weather reads less like a slogan than a job description.
