About Zaccaro Tree Care, LLC

The woods press close in New Fairfield — oak and hemlock crowding the back lanes, the dark green of Pootatuck State Forest running right up against the fence lines, Squantz Pond holding the last of the evening light. Trees that big are a gift right up until a storm finds the one weak limb. Zaccaro Tree Care, LLC reads them before that happens: pruning a crown back to clean cuts, trimming what overhangs the roof, lifting out a hazardous tree rather than letting wind choose where it lands. And when a night of weather does roll over the ridge, the crew answers around the clock — the limb off the porch, the trunk out of the driveway, the storm debris hauled off before the ground has dried. Routine tree maintenance is the quieter half of the job, a few hours a season so a yard's oldest oak gets to go on standing over it. The work runs through New Fairfield and out across the towns on both sides of the Connecticut–New York line.
