About JMD Landscaping

December on Hill Street: the hose is out, the boards are set, and a backyard is becoming a rink one thin layer at a time. JMD Landscaping does exactly that — EZ ice rink installation — along with the rest of a New Canaan year. Spring and fall cleanup, lawn mowing, lawn aeration, seeding and sod, weed control and lawn treatment keep the turf in order, while mulching, edging, hedge trimming and flower and shrub planting keep the beds reading right. They install wood, vinyl and split-rail fencing, build retaining walls, stabilize slopes, and string holiday lights when the early dark comes on. Then the plow goes on, firewood stacks up by the door, and the whole town settles in until the grass starts again.
