Naugatuck climbs. From the river the streets go up hard on both sides, and nearly every yard here has to be argued out of a slope. Ferrari's Landscaping & Home Improvement takes that argument on — designing and installing hardscapes and plantings, building outdoor living spaces where a hillside used to be, tilling and aerating and putting down new grass applications and treatments until turf will finally hold. The weekly rhythm is plainer and just as exacting: mowing, weed whacking, blowing the walks down, trimming bushes, keeping beds maintained with mulch and weed block so the borders stay crisp.
