About Clear Cut Tree and Lawn Care LLC

North and east of Monroe center the land climbs into oak and hemlock — Webb Mountain, the wooded slopes falling away toward the Housatonic — and sooner or later every one of those big trees has an opinion about the roof beneath it. Clear Cut Tree reads them one at a time: which limb comes off in a pruning, which crown wants cabling and bracing, which trunk simply has to come down. Removals go up on a crane when the reach demands it, or on a seventy-foot backyard aerial lift when the tree is boxed in behind the house, and track mats go down first so the lawn survives the machinery. After a storm the work does not wait for daylight — twenty-four-hour cleanup, brush piles chipped and hauled, log-length firewood delivered, stumps ground down until the ground is ground again. Land clearing opens acreage where acreage is needed, and lawn care follows the tree work, because turf that has just been handed a full afternoon of new sunlight deserves someone paying attention to it.
