Girard's Lawn Care

About Girard's Lawn Care

Middletown's southern edge runs out into South Farms, where the Long Lane fields open behind the brownstone of the college hill and September light comes across the grass sideways. Girard's Lawn Care runs a route through that country and out across central Connecticut, on a weekly seven-day or biweekly fourteen-day rhythm depending on how fast a lawn wants to grow. Mowing, trimming and edging give the property its shape; then come the beds — mulch laid fresh, flower beds redefined with a clean border, weeds kept in check so the plantings have room to flourish. Aeration and seeding open the soil in the cool months and fertilizing carries the color through, and when the leaves finally let go, the spring and fall cleanups haul them away. Homes and commercial properties alike, scheduled or not, get the same full pass every visit.
