About Xenelis Construction Co Inc

December dusk comes early under Mount Higby, and the traprock ridge holds the cold long after the Coginchaug has gone dark below it. Xenelis Construction Co Inc works Middlefield through that stretch, clearing snow from driveways and walkways after a storm has come through town. Out this way it banks up hard against the ledge and the old field walls, and it will not move on its own. There is pride in the plain result: a drive cut open, a path underfoot, headlights backing out onto a road that is passable again. Middlefield and the towns down the valley are where the company works.
