About Changing Lawns LLC

Every April, Hubbard Park turns yellow — hundreds of thousands of daffodils opening at once beneath the Hanging Hills — and the rest of Meriden takes the hint and starts to green. Changing Lawns LLC begins its year right about then, the first cut of the season leaving that unmistakable smell hanging in the air. Through summer it is a steady rhythm: mow, trim, edge, sweep the clippings off the walk. The reward is a lawn that looks intentional from the sidewalk, its lines true and its borders sharp. Simple work, done attentively, on the streets between the park and the river.
