Adell Landscape

About Adell Landscape

Winter arrives in Meriden from the west, over the Hanging Hills, and the first thing it touches is the traprock crown where Castle Craig stands. By the time the storm has settled into the streets below, Adell Landscape is out in it, headlights swinging across driveways that were bare at midnight. Snow removal here is a night trade — plow, back-drag, clear the walk and the steps, move on before the household wakes. Landscape work fills the other half of the year, but a Meriden January asks for this: a driveway opened, a path down to the mailbox, tires finding pavement instead of drift. There is a plain satisfaction in a street of clean aprons at first light, steam rising off the blacktop.
