Kurt's Tree and Landscape Company

About Kurt's Tree and Landscape Company

Out at Manchester Green the old maples throw enough shade to make grass an argument, and winning that argument takes patience more than horsepower. Kurt's Tree and Landscape Company works those shaded lots and the sunnier ones alike — mowing on a schedule the lawn can keep up with, trimming close to trunks and stone, edging the drive so the turf stops exactly where it should. Shrubs and hedges are brought back into proportion, beds are mulched, and twice a year the property is stripped of what spring thaw and autumn wind piled into the corners. Leaves here fall heavy and late, and clearing them before the first hard rain is what saves the lawn underneath. The reward is a yard that looks cared for from the road, which in this town is its own kind of language.
