About Ferrer Outdoor Services

When the wind crosses Union Pond with ice in it, the hills above Porter Street stop forgiving anything — a half-plowed drive there is a problem by noon. Ferrer Outdoor Services runs snow work on those grades: pushing the driveway clean to its edges, clearing the walks and the landing at the door, spreading sand and salt where the slope will want to hold water and then freeze it. Storms in Manchester rarely arrive politely, and the plan accounts for that, with return passes when the sky refuses to quit. There is real satisfaction in pulling away from a property that looks like the storm skipped it entirely. Neighbors up and down the block get the same treatment, one pass at a time, until the town can get to work.
