Old fieldstone walls run through the woods behind half the streets in Madison, and Royal Oak Landscape works in that same vocabulary — stonewalls decorative and retaining, stone steps set into a slope, natural stone veneer facing a wall or a fireplace. The good hour to see their work is the one after dinner in September, when the landscape lighting comes up, a firepit catches, and a pond somewhere in the dark starts making its small noise.
