Madison Lawn and Stump Service Inc.

About Madison Lawn and Stump Service Inc.

By late October the maples over the Boston Post Road have let go all at once, and every lawn in town is under six inches of red and brown. That is the season Madison Lawn and Stump Service Inc. is built for — leaf removal, spring clean up, bush trimming, and mowing and lawn maintenance kept steady from the first flush of April to the last cut before frost. Fertilization takes care of the color; stump grinding takes care of the old trunk nobody wanted to look at anymore, chewed down below grade until the spot can simply be a lawn again. When a storm arrives, the same trucks run the snow plow through Madison and out along the shoreline to Clinton, Westbrook and Saybrook. Year round property maintenance is the honest description: one place, watched the whole way around the calendar.
