West of the Litchfield green the land drops toward Bantam Lake, and on a late-August evening the light off the water reaches a long way inland. SRT Landscaping builds for hours like that — hardscapes in paver and stone, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits and outdoor kitchens, drawn first as computer-rendered plans and then put in the ground. Mowing runs weekly or every other week with trimming and cleanup, while mulching, weeding and selective pruning keep the beds honest. Lawns take fall core aeration and overseeding, de-thatching where it helps, and full renovation with topsoil, seed and fertilizer when a yard has gone too far to coax back. Excavation and grading bring in French drains and take out stumps, brush clearing gives an overgrown property its shape again, and estate grounds management holds larger places to a steady standard. Spring and fall cleanups clear the leaves and debris, and snow removal carries Litchfield County through the cold months.
