About CT Country Services

Litchfield gets the storms the shoreline only reads about — the hills pull another six inches out of the very same sky. CT Country Services plows through them: driveways and lots opened, walks cleared, sand and salt where the grade turns slick. Out past White Memorial the roads run dark and snow comes off Bantam Lake in sheets, so a route up here gets measured in hours rather than stops. Long hill driveways need somewhere to put it all, and knowing where the banks should go back in December is what keeps March workable. The payoff arrives at first light on Route 202, plow still warm, every drive on the list standing wide open.
