Goshen Hill Road climbs away from the middle of Lebanon, and any house on a road like that needs a driveway that sheds water rather than holding it. Grabber Construction LLC works out of that road, regrading worn drives and putting in new ones, always rolled and compacted so the finish stays where it was laid. Beneath the surface go the things nobody ever sees and everybody depends on — cellar holes for new houses, septic tanks and sewer lines, gutter drains and curtain drains routed to take a wet corner and make it dry. Come winter, commercial snow and ice management is what has a lot bare and a business open at opening time. Eastern Connecticut is the whole of the map, and the same attention goes into a shed pad as into a full site.
